Forgot to ask if Ken made it for the meeting or if you played a presentation of his. Couldn't tell by your response. He's a member of the Windsor Aquarium Society (Ontario) and of course his home club in Chatham.

I'm working on getting us a guest speaker for the April or May meeting. I have been talking to a plec/catfish expert in the UK. Julian used to be customer of mine when OutsideInside Aquatics in Scotland!!!

More about Helen:

Helen and Hugh, the owners of Riverscape Aquarium, believe that people should know what they are buying. They offer lots of advice and run practical workshops to inform customers. They feel they have done their jobs when customers leave the store with healthy fish and plants.

With her husband Hugh, they ran OutsideInside Aquatics near Edinburgh in Scotland. The store won many awards. Twice voted Best Aquatic Retailer in Scotland and placed 3rd in the Top 20 Shops 2011 by the readers of Practical Fishkeeping Magazine.

Helen brings horticultural knowledge to the business. A passionate gardener with experience of the horticultural industry, she has turned her skills to underwater gardening.

Man I would love to have a chance to come to listen to her speak. As a horticulturalist myself I have a passion for gardening also and would love to hear first hand her tips on bringing that garden expertise to an under water realm. Not sure if it possible but could you post tips she has on making this a reality to the common fish hobbiest? Even minor tips will help those who try to green scape their tanks.

This talk will be on the history of the aquarium, not green scape, she is planning on talking about that at a different meeting.
